We first opened in 1957, with two doctors offering services from a small house on the corner of Alexander Street and Winbourne Road. Since then, we have grown to offer a range of primary care services, allied health including podiatry and dietetics and nursing care.
Our clinic is accredited to the National Standards which means we have demonstrated that we provide high quality, safe care in an environment that supports continuous improvement.
A TributeDr Matthew Rubinfeld took over ownership of the Clinic in 2010. Matthew (or Dr Ruby as he was known to his youngest patients) was a wonderful doctor, and was considered a friend to many in the Mt Waverley community. Matthew passed away suddenly in 2014 but he will always be remembered.
Matthew’s wife, Fiona, is now the Director of the Mt Waverley Clinic. Fiona has over 15 years of experience in health governance and financing policy.
